By using the AstroDNA service, provided by Streaming Relativity, Inc., you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms of Use. If you do not agree to these terms, you are prohibited from using this service.

2. Service Description

AstroDNA provides users with the ability to store, process, and share astronomical data. Our service includes secure data preservation, advanced analytics, high-performance processing, and collaboration tools.

3. User Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

  • Ensuring that all data uploaded to AstroDNA is your own or that you have the appropriate rights to store and share the data.
  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
  • Using the service in compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.

4. Data Ownership and Rights

  • You retain all ownership rights to the data you upload to AstroDNA.
  • By uploading data, you grant Streaming Relativity, Inc. permission to process, analyze, and store your data as part of the service.
  • You may revoke access to your data or delete your account at any time, which will remove your data from the service (with exceptions for backup retention policies as stated below).

5. Featuring User Data/Images in Content

  • If you choose to allow your data or images to be featured in a video on the AstroDNA Observatory YouTube channel, you grant Streaming Relativity, Inc. a non-exclusive, royalty-free right to use your content in our videos.
  • Streaming Relativity, Inc. will credit you for your contribution in any content that features your data or images.
  • While you retain ownership of your original data/images, Streaming Relativity, Inc. retains full rights to any video produced that features your content, including any future uses of the video.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

Streaming Relativity, Inc. respects your privacy and handles your data in accordance with our [Privacy Policy]. We use advanced security measures to protect your data from unauthorized access, alteration, or loss.

7. Data Retention and Backups

  • Your data is securely stored for as long as you maintain an active account.
  • We perform regular backups of data stored on AstroDNA, but we do not guarantee that all data can be recovered in the event of a failure.
  • Upon account deletion, we will retain backups of your data for a limited time in accordance with our data retention policies. After that, your data will be permanently deleted.

8. Fees and Payment

Certain features of AstroDNA, including advanced analytics and high-performance processing, may incur additional fees. By using these features, you agree to pay the associated charges as outlined in your subscription plan.

9. Modification of Service

Streaming Relativity, Inc. reserves the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue the service at any time, with or without notice. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users in advance of significant changes.

10. Prohibited Activities

When using AstroDNA, you agree not to:

  • Upload, store, or share any illegal or harmful content.
  • Use the service for any malicious or unlawful purposes.
  • Attempt to bypass or disrupt the security of the service or access data that you do not have permission to view.

11. Limitation of Liability

Streaming Relativity, Inc. provides the service "as is" and makes no warranties regarding the reliability, availability, or accuracy of the service. In no event shall Streaming Relativity, Inc. be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service. Liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

12. Termination

Streaming Relativity, Inc. may terminate your account and access to the service at any time if you violate these Terms of Use. Upon termination, you will no longer have access to your data stored on AstroDNA.

13. Governing Law

These Terms of Use shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New York, United States of America. Any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms shall be resolved exclusively in the courts of New York.

14. Changes to Terms

Streaming Relativity, Inc. reserves the right to update these Terms of Use from time to time. Any changes will be posted on our website, and your continued use of the service constitutes acceptance of those changes.
